How does one change the color of the ingame UI Border on objects like the sliders from that ugly blue. I've opened up Lanquage.dll using resource hacker but cannot find any indicators that say this object has a border around it. I checked TI and the borders are removed or changed color but may I ask how?

The boarder colours are hardcoded into the tibsun.exe AFAIK.

Structure selection has normal color (white), limpet affected (yellow) and alpha lighting affected color. Palette index (should be unittem.pal etc.) is used for these. Courtesy goes to Tuc0.

0x22B2DC and 0x22C0BB - 0F (default white 15)
0x22B2E8 and 0x22C0C2 - 05 (limpet affected yellow 5)
0x22B2FF and 0x22C0D6 - 0C (inverted for alpha light 12)

Change like, if you want to change the limpet affected color to orange, then use 6 instead of 5.

Edit: There might be a catch in what index values could be used like the code checks for a value being less than -4 for the alpha light change (at 0x22B2F8 and 0x22C0D2 of FC).

Great!, I was able to change both now and now the game has a much better atmosphere with the correct colors.
