OS HVA Builder Feedback
Subject description: Bugs and other issues
I'm doing some animating with HVA Builder v.2.18 and I've come accross some glaring issues that really hurt the workflow:
- Cannot manually enter negative HVA position values in the Position Manager dialog. The position gets reverted to 0.
- Voxel view is not updated automatically when switching between frames, only when switching the section or options. This makes the animation playback useless.
- HVA Position Manager dialog remembers the position values of the current section, but the Rotation Manager does not (it always reverts to 0 when you open the dialog)
- The highlighting of XYZ axes is very counter-intuitive. The selected axis should be vibrantly colored while the others are paled/darkened, not the other way around.
This one is a minor issue, but something worth mentioning I guess:
- Opening preferences produces "Failed to get data for 'UseNameSpecificPalette' error
EDIT: Struck through the issues fixed by version 2.2. _________________

Re: OS HVA Builder 2.18 Feedback
Huh, I had no idea there's been a new version around. Thanks. It did fix the most serious issues, however this one still remains:

Here's another issue that causes some annoyance. In the bounds dialog, I'd like to use the tab key to quickly switch between the fields, from top to bottom, but the internal order of the fields is all messed up. See the attached gif.

Could have changed it by yourself with resource hacker. Go to RCData -> TFRMBOUNDSMANAGER_NEW -> 0 and go to bottom to find the TabOrder of object XOffset: TEdit. It is actually in correct order but somehow working differently. Change TabOrders from 2, 3, 4 ,5, 6 and 7 to 4, 2, 3, 7, 5 and 6. QUICK_EDIT
