I am looking for an example mod and an example map for TD (content doesn't really matter for my purposes) that are distributed outside of Steam Workshop as well as instructions on exactly where to put those files so the game will pick them up.

You have the game out of steam ?

How can i get a non-steam copy please,
it can be very usefull for fast modding test, without having to post on steam each time...
