Hi,
I've been trying to find the position of the actual remastered Cameo images for the sidebar. I'm trying to port the A10 from TD and the only thing missing is the high res Cameo.
I checked all the Meg files in the Data folder but I can't find any references to these files.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

I believe those are stored in the .mix files so you need xcc mixer to export anything from those I haven’t really explored those that well yet.

All the unit icons for the remaster are packed into a file mt_commandbar_common.tga in textures_srgb.meg.
The files mt_commandbar_common.mtd and mt_commandbar_common.mtm are used to somehow index that file.

The A10 for example is referenced as buildicon_td_a10.tga and then the game uses the mtd and mtm files to look up where on mt_commandbar_common.tga that icon is. If all you want to do is use that icon in Red Alert (as opposed to TD) then you should be able to just reference buildicon_td_a10.tga in your RA mod in the appropriate place and the game will find it.

Finally, thank you very much for this.
I did manage to reference the A10 icon prior to this, but I wanted to extract some of these icons just to modify them a little.

You can modify them directly on mt_commandbar_common.tga no ?

It's better to override the correct filename that replace the whole mega texture, otherwise a patch might fix something and you would be overriding 100+ art assets.
