Is C&C Remastered Tiberian Dawn not able to have 5 AI's in a skirmish?

The game freeze's while loading a skirmish... I am using a custom map... I do not think that is hurting it...

Just seems odd to not be able to have a 3vs3.

I think it is programmed to have only up to 4 players (where the player counts as one of the four). I guess this is the reason why no official maps have more than 4 players, despite having up to 8 starting waypoints.

That is is kind of a bummer... They should probably lock it so player cant set up 4+ AI's.
