Community News!
So many things happened in the last 3 weeks.... I know I cannot cover anything here, here's some of them... fortunatelly Unidentifiedname posted a round up in the latest days, so you can find all other news at CnC Unleashed. Btw, go there and also check out the musics Tesla7zap posted. (I personally liked Slaughter a lot).
- Revora Creative Network with troubles: Revora went offline on september 6th because it has lost its server (the reseller person sold his part of the business). Few of the CnC Guild hosted sites returned online recently in a temporary host (like YR Argentina, Tiberian Alert and us. The Revora Forums. Revora will fully return once it moves to its new server. We don't have a safe date for this, but it's possible that in the very end of the month or beggining of the next month... or later.
- Strike-Team now supports all Westwood games: The recently hacking story is over. Champ-site (who was responsible to the XWIS TS online service) is gone due to the hacking attacks and Strike Team took over the XWIS TS task. Unfortunatelly, there will be no prizes in this month due to lack of popularity (not that WOL is much more popular O.o). Anyway, if you wanna play TS or FS online without being cheated, download the latest version of XWIS Conection Tool and get playing. If anything wrong happens, make sure you have a screenshot to grab your points back .
- YR Argentina: ArgCmdr uploaded a lot of files recently, but he is no longer producing RA2 files anymore. He moved to 3D...
And a good bye for:
- 2021: Cataclysm: One of the most promising RA2 mods was scraped. ArgCmdr was dismotivated to continue to work on it and he left Ra2 modding. You can find the full explanation for this at Sleipnir Stuff. The mod files are available for download at YR Argentina.
- C&C Revolution: Deadalus also decided to stop modding Ra2. It's unknown if the mod will be continued, but if you are willing to take it, post here.
- Starcraft: Xell Naga Vengeance: The guys from Xell Naga received an email from Blizzard asking them for taking their mod offline due to violation of their private property. The mod was looking great until it happens.
And more stuff happened and I'll post about them later.... most of things were well covered by Uni's roundup at CnC Unleashed. QUICK_EDIT
