Renegade-X: Firestorm has been revealed!

A couple of days ago, Renegade-X: Firestorm has been revealed with an interesting trailer. It brings the Tiberian Sun: Firestorm theme to their first person shooter game, created with the Unreal engine.

And today we have more tidbits where the developers discuss how they are working on it and further details about the project.

Too bad they have to deal with engine limitations as well. I would really like to see what the RenDevs can achieve when not facing engine limitations.

Even as a TS fan from the start, i agree that the new Wolverine looks really good and fitting. It gives however the appearance of being a lot more fragile than the TS design.
None the less the pretty realistic design, excellent details, well thought ingame mechanic are totally worth the redesign.

Only reason that make me not enjoy RenX that much would be lack of hit confirm /take damage SFX.

Earthbreakers had something there where you could see how much HP was taken.

It's not only about visual info but lack of hit SFX make each shot hit feel no impact.
