The Red Alert: A Path Beyond team has made a comeback update to v3.5, accompanied with the above Delta trailer.
The mod has been around a very long time, and still holds its own well against other modern iterations of Renegade.

Quote:

For those of you who don't know what RA:APB is, it's a first person shooter set in the universe of Red Alert 1. In the game you can drive all kinds of awesome vehicles from Red Alert, like Mammoth Tanks, Tesla Tanks, Mine Layers, Submarines, Cruisers, Yaks, and Longbows!
We have our own easy-to-use launcher that handles the installation of our community games, so come and check out our latest update and join us in-game this weekend! ????

Fyi, this news was accidentally posted 4 times Smile

Still, pretty neat to see APB receive an update after all this time. Had such a good time playing it back in the day.

Btw that trailer was posted in 2016.

First of all, thank you, Team Black, for posting this news here. As Crimsonum said, there were 3 additional copies of this news. But, don't worry, I've dealt with it already. The PPM's main site should reflect the changes in the next hours.

I am really happy to see this mod still being updated.

I might have to try and get online at some point, and just see how different it is since I have played it last.

Thanks for cleaning up my mess, Bansh!
I was getting some kind of error, and didn't think my posts were going through.

But yeah, I'm pumped that the RA APB team is still working hard.
I imagine the popularity of the Remasters, and Renegade X is inspiring modders to keep up the fight and pump out more content

MadHQ, when was the last time you played? You familiar with drivable Chrono Tanks, Cruisers, MiGs and Yaks?

What they've accomplished in the Renegade engine is incredibly impressive...though I feel it's let down hugely by the visual-side of the engine. The lack of proper lighting/shadowing leaves everything looking pretty flat and lifeless, even though the raw model quality is actually good

This. It's probably the single greatest drawback of making a mod on the original W3D engine.
