I didn't want to interrupt denmon0728's mlcad thread, so I thought I'd post my work separately. Here's the first model I made [and completed]. Until I get a proper rendering of it in Pov-Ray, here's a view using LDview. The colors are a bit messed up. (I think it, color-wise, looked much closer to the real thing when viewed in LDraw, even not using custom colors.) What do you think of it?

Other projects I'm considering making:
Yuri Bio Power Plant
Soviet Cloning Vats
GDI Titan

I got bored, so I did this one this morning. It's not as good as the Warfactory, but I like it nonetheless.

EDIT: Replacing image with that of a slightly adjusted Prism Tower. I wasn't pleased with how far out the panels were so I placed them closer to the center by one block each.

In my opinion, I think it's really easy. The Prism Tower took me a couple hours to make. (I was watching cartoons at the time, so that distraction slowed me down... Hehe.) The Warfactory took me weeks to make. I started it in August after seeing Sleipnir show off a Generals GLA Marauder Tank on his forums. I left the model for a while and only just recently went back to finish it.

Unfortunately, as easy as it is to work with the program, I'm not sure what advantage there is to using LDraw. You can convert models to voxels, and there's a separate program that removes the pegs/bumps which cuts down a bit on "rough looking" voxels. I assume you could make shps out of the 3d file too (again, after removing the pegs/bumps to improve the look), but I'm not too familiar with 3d -> shp conversions so I woudn't know if it's worth it.

There is a way to convert MLCad to Voxels? Please explain how.

I have a large archive of spaceships and stuff, that are mostly studless, that I'd love to have in Voxel Format. Here is just one of the vehicles I made in like 3 hours.

It is highly easy to use. Also, try using L3Lab or L3P, Ragnorak. L3Lab is ridiculously easy to use.
