Hello folks,

We're having a lot of surprises in this stage of OMC 2, but today's surpise was a good one. This week we were having problems to contact Froggy. He appeared in TumSun forums yesterday and he has already reviewed the maps. So, we have 5 judges and 3 of them alreayd reviewed the maps. We're still waiting for the reviews from SMIFFGIG and GeckoYamori.

In another note, Froggy also couldn't review the same map that dEw_MaN couldn't review. So far, only DvD could review that map because he posses an AMD Athlon64 @3800+ with a lot of fast RAM and a very nice video card and it still ran very slowly at his machine, so you may imagine the power that the map requires to run #Tongue. I think it's important  to test your map properly before submiting a map into a competition. That's all for now and more news about it will be posted as soon as we have a new review.

Tiberian Sun running slow on a 3800? wow, one hell of a map that must be...

What can make a map go that slowly? Does it have a few thousand translucent animations playing on the screen each second or something?

Lol, i can guess whose map that is, not mine for sure though #Tongue

also if it is a very large map with lots of invisible lamps, thatll make it go slower...

Or, how about loads of meteor storms at once? Or even a continuous meteor storm.

Please, DvD, dont give any tip about the map yet. We don't want anything leaked before all judges are done with their work.

So, how's this getting along? Any estimated date of release of the results?

We are still waiting GeckoYamori and SMIFFGIG. Today I asked smiff, if he played the maps and he simply said "no".

Really, could we not just use four judges instead of all five? That was the original plan anyway.
