This is for the Red Alert 2 editing forum, not the voxel media forum.

However, it needs to be a Naval=yes unit, without Underwater=yes,

with a water locomotor (presumably)

and be below ShipSInkingWeight.

I also think Ares should implement a universal flag for voxel unnitypes as "Sinks=Yes"

For example, as it stands, subs can never sink, only explode, which is anticlimatic.

Locomotor is actually rather irrelevant to the sinking things ships do; just pick one that best suits your needs, and isn't JumpJet/Aircraft/Kamikazee/etc.

There is no way to make ships capsize. Either accept this fact, or try to modify the game engine to make such hacks yourself.

Why don’t you use Ares make vehicle and have it be of an upside down version of your ship. Or create vehicle using make vehicle to spawn an animated land based version of your voxel that may sink while animating. Idk if any of this will work though.

DeathAnims work though but Ares can't differentiate between land and water so if it's amphibious it would also sinking on land.

DeathAnims will override all the death animation. Except Temporal=yes
use EMEffect=yes to get random death animation
