
Hello guys! For few days I am struggling with this, and I finally made it!
I made Manimal! (there was TV series back in 80s, man with ability to transform into animals. He transformed into hawk and panther mostly). Here, my versions is corrupted one (since Devil managed to corrupt some of angels, humans and so on, he found way to corrupt this type as well), thus converting into two black animals: Bear and Raven.
Model itself is James Bond from Atomic_Noodles, I just added some idle frames (raven wings at one and bear head at another idle), and his raven as well. But Atomic_Noodles made raven flying only, it was not designed for ground, I adapted it, I recolored it and made shadows for it (original version did not have shadows). And I recolored stock bear.
So this is how it works: You select Manimal in human form, double click on it, he transforms into Bear. Double clikc to him, Bear transforms into Bird. Double click on Bird, it transforms into human again.
Why is raven not airborne? because I never managed to make flying infantry work to convert. MakeInfantry logic or something just does not work on flying units, they explode instead of convert. Raven is hover anyway, and fast.
BE NOTED: Few things you need to be warned about
-Units should not be trainable because they will lose veterancy after conversion
-You select any unit and convert, you will lose selection, you will have to select it again after conversion.
-Units always start at full health when converted!
-If you try to convert raven over water, it will die, since human cannot swim. Convert it on beach or ground only!
-You may want to move Manimal-type units away at least one cell from each other. If they are close, 3 in one cell for example, all 3 will be converted when one is converted. So, moving away will help. Do not worry, it affect only them, no other infantry.
THERE ARE LOT OF CODES, SOMEWHAT HARD TO DO, THOSE ARE IN SEPARATED TEXT FILE INSIDE. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS COPY PASTE. And there are few SHPS.
