OMC2: 6th place is.....
Hello again, people! We're glad to start revealing the results from the Open Map Competition. We had 2 nice judges and one evil. The evil one, Froggy, has eaten many points from the submissions, so don't be desesperate if your map score drops a bit... The nice ones were The DvD who focused more on details and dEw_MaN.
So, in the next days we'll know who will be the:
This might sound like a joke, but the minimap above is from one of the submited maps. It ended scoring the last position because it was not enough detailed and incomplete in several aspects. It also did not included any trigger .
Anyway, the sixth place is a 4 players map where you start in four spots with not a lot of tiberium, protected (or cursed) by Meteor Storms and you have a city, a GDI base and a desert between them. It's a nice and regular map that I personally enjoyed playing. The mapper who made it has showed a great progress on his mapping skills during this year. I was quite surprised with him. Congrats to Fremen5!

Anyway, it's a nice map with good details and a nice layout, but as I don't know any of the other maps, I can't compare it. So i don't know if it deserved higher, but I know it didn't deserve as low as 41%. Much higher I think. QUICK_EDIT

The people that scored 7th or lower will be able to read the comments and individual judges ratings in the OMC map map that will be released after the winner is announced. QUICK_EDIT

for some strange reason im disappointed in myself.
i guess it must be that i have to much to do with my life ATM. i wish i had more time to complete the map.
if it would be possible i would like a re-judge when its done. not for the competition though, i just want to know how i would have done if i finished.
