How to delete/add houses?

In my mod, I've made it so that all house specific units are available to all other houses in the same faction (I.E., America can train snipers, and Russian can train Desolators).

Is it possible then to remove the different houses from the UI selection, and make just two general ones for each faction (meaning an "Allied Forces" and "Soviets" faction, without having to select a specific country)?

Try setting houses with Multiplay=yes to Multiplay=no, until only 2 houses of your choosing have the former, and every other house has the latter. For extra insurance, you may also replace Multiplay=no with MultiplayPassive=true.

That worked perfectly!

If I can ask another question, do you know how to add the loading screen or flag in faction select?

Since you're using Ares now this should be straightforward.

For the loading screen, use File.LoadScreen= with a .shp file. Loading screen must be used with corresponding palette file, File.LoadScreenPAL=, or else it would appear as bad color. I'm not good in making these sorts, so you may want to ask someone else.

For the flag in faction select drop, use File.Flag= with a .pcx file.

You can find more information from the Ares documentation. For these problems in particular, the Sides & Countries section should contain most solutions I have stated thus far.
