As of https://github.com/FFmpeg/FFmpeg/commit/4236e87f502e68acb949ea4ae6f5ebd889377b60 FFmpeg now supports transcoding any of its many supported file formats to AUD format that C&C, RA and TS all use for their sound effects and sound tracks. For C&C and RA it can also produce stereo tracks/sfx.

Also, the audio decoding bug that has been in FFmpeg for a long time has been fixed so it can correctly decode AUD files and VQA audio tracks.

Now if only vqa encoding could be added too :p
