Subject description: Broken harvester pathfinding and broken wraiths.

Hello I started a new TI campaign again, playing as GDI, and currently stuck at the last GDI mission, Walk.

When I gain command of the base, Nod starts attacking me with dozens of uber Wraiths and Banshees, geach can withstand ten shot of railguns before perishing, and not after delivering their payloads. They always hit and can easily decimate my base after just 2 minutes.

And the harvesters are not helpful here. They take a much longer detour going to the back southern ramp of the base to reach the refinery instead of using the northern gate that connects to the tiberium fields. It increases the harvesting time by more than double. The AI-controlled harvesters can use the normal way just fine, only after the base is given to me that the harvesters behave badly. After some tests, it seems the harvesters would prefer to take the detour when you order them to go past the northern gate, even after I sell it.

I can handle the Nod attack waves but not the uber bombers and the harvesters, one is killing me in a mere 2 waves even with 10 deployed railgun platforms and towers defending the base, and the other are slowing down the rate of credit earning to replace lost units.

I’m using the latest version of TI, 0.8.0.5 by the way. A quick check on the walkthrough videos using older versions are not showing the same problems to me. I also do not encounter these problems playing TI 2 years ago with the 0.5 or 0.6 versions.

Harvester pathfinding has been improved and air/anti-air combat has been tweaked in the coming update.

The reason Harvesters take the long route in the first place is due to them trying to avoid enemies on the island.

If you don't want to wait for the update, you can mitigate this issue by opening the map file (Maps/Missions/g15.map) with a text editor and adding this bit somewhere along the code:

Thank you very much for your support ! I was able to (barely) withstand the onslaughts and wait until the Mk II is available. Afterwards it becomes much easier.
