Is it possible that after a map is saved lets say as a snow map, is there a way to change it to temperate or another theme ?

You can open the map in a text editor & change the Theater= tag. Note that theaters dont all have the same tile sets, so some parts it will probably need to be manually fixed after.

IIRC Temperate, Snow, Urban can be interchanged without (much) trouble.

YR is a different story. Desert, Lunar and New Urban can't be changed to or from easily. The addition of the "Frozen Cliffs" we see in the final Allied mission also complicates change if used.

What about trying this? https://ppmforums.com/topic-43411/
