Paradrop Plane For Each Side ?

I downloaded several aircraft and wanted to know if there is a way to give each side its own paradrop plane instead of using the same generic one ?

Only with Ares.

You can make each side have its own Paradrop plane, and then you can set a Paradrop plane for each Country to override the corresponding Side's Paradrop plane.

What I'm working on are maps that are self-contained mods inside a mix file.
In this case I named the mix file expandmd50.mix so that it wouldn't interfere with other expandmd files.

So what would happen if my map mod is built on ares, but the player doesn't have ares on their system ?

Dunno.

Either it's ignored or the game crashes.

Most likely it'll just be ignored.
But Ares also adds new Script and Trigger Actions. Use those and the map will crash during map-load. I think.
