That's something between Delphi and WinXP that I can't check how it works here... I have win98 and it works fine here.

I am really unable to reproduce this problem here. This is really something with WinXP. I guess you'll have to ask this one to Stucuk... or use your 1337 delphi skills #Tongue.

That what? The SHP Builder? Yea, today I did some good stuff for it.. but I have to fix a little mistake that I did with darkening and lighting tool... stupid things that happens when the program is under development.

I'll do it, but I'll probably keep using the SHP Builder engine instead of doing stuff from scratch.

Banshee, you need this component for XP support: http://delphi-gems.com/ThemeManager.php (I use delphi and this w/o issues)

It's free and it ought to fix your problem, don't do it from scratch!

Edit, also what Delphi version are you using?  And is it fully updated?

I use Delphi 7.0 with Windows 98se. Therefore I won't install components made for XP in my computer. The program comes with the source code that you can compile in your Delphi and make a version without this problem Wink.

It won't cause issues with 98(se) users.  It merely enables XP support should someone need it.  You are doing a rather standard MDI form application right?

It was started as SDI and I adapted that for MDI.

Then that's probably you issue, SDI converted to MDI has never worked well for me.  I'd reccommend you transfer all your code, that you can of course, into a new MDI app. Deja Vu...

MDI already works well with the SHP Builder.

If so then why the error?  If it's an MDI then something is wrong in the MDI interface/options.  Anyway, it's just advice.
