[Solved] Prevent AI from building stuff too soon.
Screenie courtesy of CatTanker; this map is optimised for vYR and was made with vYR stuff in mind. Mostly.
I have a mission where I want the AI to not actually do anything until the appropriate triggers fire.
The AI has a base node it's not supposed to start building until after the trigger fires.
Unfortunately, the AI still builds the node and a miner despite already having three on Harvest missions.
The map is the RA2 Soviet 02 map; it'll probably work for YR without trouble because it uses the regular Houses and not custom ones like the other missions.
I have already disabled all triggers, and yet the AI still builds things!
Trigger that enables production is American Troops Build. The AI should build an AMRADR next to the 3 WFs only after a specific trigger fires, not before. And yet it does.
You see that ACHQ Base Node?
That thing is not supposed to pop up.
The Boomers are to get testing faster; they're non-canon
Same to SpySat and Allied Power Plant I put there too.
There's only one instance of 3,0,0,0,0,0,0,A and 74,0,0,0,0,0,0,A in the file; under 07B11750 American Troops Build.
13,0,0,0,0,0,0,A doesn't exist in map.
I've already tried PercentBuilt=100 and PercentBuilt=0, no difference.
Same goes to [Basic] > IgnoreGlobalAITriggers=yes

If a House has an IQ equal or larger than what [IQ] > Production= it'll build things regardless of things like PercentBuilt. _________________ One and only developer of the Command & Conquer Dune "C&C D" mod.
