I don't know how to use any 3D programs but I do have Paint Shop Pro X9 and PS 2018 and I want to create an entire city set for the game.

I did not make a second mistake.

The mistake is from whoever worded the ANNOUNCMEMTS and TUTORIAL REQUESTS subforum.

How can it be said Don't post questions or requests [which I didn't see, sorry] and then right below it have a section called TUTORIAL REQUESTS that specificlly says Post ALL your tutorial request in this topic ONLY. Do not post them outside it.

So by the way its worded, If you need a tutorial on a subject, you can only ask for it Here in the TUTORIALS REQUEST and not anywhere else on the forum.

Why ?
Because the term Tutorial Request simply means this is where you ask for tutorials and thats why the main section is called Tutorials Vault, where you search for already written tutorials and if you don't see what you want then you can ask for it only in the Tutorials Request section.

That's like a place having a Suggestion Box thats says 'HELP US MAKE OUR SERVICE TO YOU BETTER' but right under it the box it reads 'PLEASE NO NEW IDEAS'.

If you can't ask for a tutorial from a Tutorial Request subforum then what is the forum for ?
I'm just trying to follow the forum rules as best as I could.

The Tutorial Vault is for posting & preserving tutorials so they are easy to find & use. If all the posts in the Tutorial Request topic were made as individual topics, then the actual useful tutorials would just get lost among a mountain of newbies asking for help.

I agree and that makes perfect sense.

Not really.
I just asked for a cut and paste building tutorial in this subforum only because it exist.

If it didn't then I would post it in the editing forum, even though its not an editing request.

Everyone asking for tutorials in the editing forum is what will create a mountain of request in that forum.

Having a subforum named Tutorial Request where you ask for a tutorial that is not found in the Tutorial Vault, but then told that is NOT where you Request for one, you have to ask in the editing forum, then what is the Tutorial Request subforum used for ?

Maybe whoever thought of naming a subforum Tutorial Requests, didn't grasp the full understanding of what it means when you combine those two words together.

The problem is that you didn't post within in the Tutorial Request topic though, instead you made a completely new separate topic within in the Tutorial Vault forum.

BTW your request for a cut and paste buildings tutorial is an extremely broad question & is basically the same as "how do you make digital artwork", which is beyond the scope of this forum. There are plenty of guides available online for Paintshop Pro & Photoshop though which will explain each of the programs tools & how you can use them to edit images.

If you have a more specific question, like how to extract the buildings from RA2's game files &/or how to you add new buildings to the game then you can ask that in the RA2 editing forum.

Yeah, Tutorial Requests is just a pinned topic and not a foll board.

I'm pretty sure G-E explained his way of copy-pasting buildings somewhere though. IIRC that was somewhere among the posts in the Scorched Earth thread.
