[RA2] Challenger 1
I was going to leave the additional track armor off, but it looked too plain, and I didn't want to use the thin skirts, so as to give it a little more visual distinction from say the Chieftain. Technically there should still be short triangle skirt segments in front and behind the side armor, but again, this makes it stand out.

The hull looks a bit bland with it being just one colour & the turret has a lot of high contrast 1 pixel details that make it look messy in game.
That's a strange comment, I almost never use 1-pixel details, I use contrasting parts with edges that pop from the neighbour primarily. The Chally only uses some dark lines as seams and the antennas of course, everything else is a gradient, or larger.
It might look dull, but that's because of my VPL, and you see the side views aren't blown out to nearly white like the WW VPL because of it. I actually have to force tonal brightness much wider to create contrast, which to be fair I kept muted for public release, partly because there was already so much detail.
I would argue your C2 is bland, having a nearly uniform brightness on all surfaces, and most surfaces being entirely flat. I'm not making flat voxels that are entirely at the mercy of cube lighting. _________________ http://www.moddb.com/mods/scorched-earth-ra2-mod-with-smart-ai QUICK_EDIT
