Remodeled by me.

when i tried to remodel this, the voxel size is too large and i have to shrink it, however, the rotors won't stay in the correct place. made adjustments for hours and i sort of put it in place however i just gave up.

so if anyone could animate the rotors in the right spot, feel free to do so.

Its not possible to make the tail rotors render correctly because of the overlapping parts so I'd just omit them. The main rotor blades could be bigger IMO, they also have render layering issues too. I'll have a go at fixing the animation & layering later today.

Use the HVA Builder WIP7 by Stucuk, it has the correct shrinkage offset for each section when animating.

On a design note, the tail looks too big/heavy, as Mig says one solution is larger main rotors.

Here is the fixed version:


  • Tail rotors removed.
  • Body made slightly smaller.
  • Main rotors centered correctly, so they are easier to animate.
  • Main rotors enlarged.
  • Main rotors made taller so they can clear the body.
  • Y offset added to the main rotors so they render correctly over the body.
  • Sections reordered so the body is first, removing the need for the ShadowIndex= ini tag to fix the shadow.
