Guarding Units ?

I know in some games you can assign a unit or groups of units to guard another unit or another group of units.

Is there anyway to do this in YR ?
Like I wanted to have repair vehicles follow other units into battle to repair them where ever they go.

if they are units that are pre-placed in a map and also vehicles, you could try assigning the 'followers ID' on a parent vehicle
to be the ID number of the repair vehicle, effectively making the repair vehicle follow the other vehicle.

this was how trains worked in tiberian sun.

Select the repair vehicle, hold down CTRL & ALT on the keyboard & then click on the unit you want it to follow.
