Anti air unit possible?

I'm a bit confused as I cant get a unit to just be anti-air defence.

For example the allied SAM launcher only attacks airplanes yet when I place the SAM weapon [RedEye2] on a unit it will also attack other units with it.

Is there any way to prevent this? And only make it attack airplanes?

Set LandTargeting on your technotype to other than 0 to prevent them from targeting ground units.

Thanks a lot!! Will go and try that!

As a workaround I created a primairy "dummy" weapon, with no damage and no visuals. So it can attack land units with the "dummy".

The airplanes will be attacked with the primairy weapon. It works fine but this isn't the nicest sollution.

I will give a shot at your suggestion tomorrow and will let you know if it worked. Thanks a lot for now!!
