What happend to the new Orca Fighter voice actor

Hey, in Version 0.8 of TI, the voice actor of the Orca Fighter is all-new and original.

But then for some reason, the voicelines from pre-0.8 (the Orca from Tib Wars) make a return in version 0.9. Is there any explaination what happend to the new voice actor?
