Put UseLineTrail=yes on the projectile, along with LineTrailColor= & LineTrailColorDecrement=.

Ah sorry, put the tags on the projectile's art code, not the projectile code in the rules.

Line trails definetely need a valid image.You can't say Image=none ,neither  inviso=yes Also your decrement is too much, use 160 or similar  near instead.

Problem is I don't know what image to use to translate into a tracer.
I tried the medusa  but still nothing

LineTrailColorDecrement is again to high, dont use Inviso= & the Image= in the rules should point to the art code InvisibleTrace & not MEDUSA.
