Here's a good news from Savage War! GeckoYamori, the guy behind Tiberian Retaliation (TS mod) has returned to work on it and released the first public beta of his mod. Here's what he wrote about it:

" Well, this came out of nowhere, didn't it? I haven't given you anything since October last year.
Basicly, I took a break from the C&C community, I had just lost general interest in it and needed to get my mind on something else for a while. But now I'm back, and I have resumed work on the mod. In doing so I also decided to reorganize my priorities and goals. For one, Cabal is gone. There are already several mods adding him, and they probably did a better job than I will ever do. The focus on the mod isn't about adding a plethora of new things, but rather on improving the original game, changing what is already there.
Here's a list of some of the features available in this release:

- Radical changes for Nod's army, many units have been replaced. A few new have been added, like the extremly useful Black Hand Commando. He uses a long range sniper rifle for infantry, and a powerful grenade launcher for armored units. He also has decent armor, self-heals and is tiberium immune.
- 4 new music tracks (Placeholders)
- Partly changed GUI design
- Silo system is gone, now you don't have to spend as much time managing your resources, changing the pace of the game.
- Various graphic and sound improvements"

So, if you are interested on getting this mod, head yourself to the link below. Enjoy it, but don't forget to provide him feedback on Tiberian Retaliation forum at Savage War.
