I know that when you have multiple factories and barracks, you gain a production speed boost, but is there any way to code a building so that it increases the speed without the need for multiple buildings ?

I'm looking to create a building that when built speeds up all factories and barracks, if this is possible.

1. Use BuildTimeMultiplier on a specific technotype will modify the time it takes to build it, iirc.
2. No. Production speed during a game can only be increased by having more factories of whatever type that technotype is.

And too much speed will break some war factories from spawning cheap units due to the door animations.

ARES fixes this by having the units come out of the first available factory of the same type.
