Yet again i have returned to make voxels.
I present the Shagohod the Treaded behemoth from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater by Kojima Productions and Konami.

Your explosion looks to have the wrong perspective, and I feel like the missile should be an arcing projectile rather than homing.

The vehicle itself is stupidly large, but ignoring that, the design is alright, aside from some very bizarre elements. Oddly, considering there isn't much detail, this could be remade with half the pixels or less, and still look about the same, albeit more manageably sized.

Main critique with the design is the rear body looks like a hovercraft with some sort of rubber skirting, if those are supposed to be tracks, they need a rework. If it is some sort of hovercraft, then the lack of intake or obvious fans detracts from it. I get that you're stealing the design (I'm not familiar with it) but it seems to me it's suitability for RA2 isn't predicated on accuracy to the source.

correct Those are air cushions you see in a hovercraft however the front part also has Corkscrews. if i made this hover then the corkscrews are redundant so i made it not hover while having the illusion that the back part hovers.

also i'm not "stealing" the design because this is just simply a recreation of the vehicle/mech in RA2 form. the correct word you meant is referencing.

Possible strange suggestion for a voxel. But i remember, there are interesting tank in Metal Gear 2.

Looks great, I remember someone else making a voxel of the Shagohod just after MGS3 came out & it was A tiny 1 cell sized blob #Tongue

Maybe you should make a version with just the front section too (can be easily done if you know how to edit voxels but for the ppl that cant). With a bit of editing it could fit in well with Yuri's units.

Well here is the shagohod only the front part. I just removed the back part and remained the front part with the corkscrews.

I think the tank your talking about is a Object 279 different to the Goliath which is a recent tank from the Metal Gear Timeline.

No, the design doesn't match Object 279, see prominently the square hull but it's everything really.



The tank there doesn't have to be from the same moment as the Shagohod, this could be a generla Metal Gear mod and not just for MGS3

No, i am really talking about Goliath Tank from Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake game. It is not Object-279 (but you can do it too. It is really interesting looking tank). I show it on screenshots of this game.
