We're now approaching the end of the NATO remastered buildings series.
The radical changes this time featured new drastic airfield design, a reworked Network Surveillance Center, the chapel of technocracy, and supply drop
it depot.
The vZH Airfield is very ugly, to say the least. At first glance, it looks like they couldn't afford a whole airfield because they ran out of budget or something. You got the main concrete hanger, then the control tower on metal poles (most important building btw), and then the second hanger made out of garage metal?
Then there's the giant AMMO box and very unsecured missile rack. Do I need to say more?
Due to current global... circumstances, NATO now has enough budget to construct a proper airfield that houses the world's most advanced aircraft. The second hanger building is now concrete and is the control tower! The metal roof from the previous iteration now stores essential supplies to operate NATO aircraft and personnel. The runway and helipad are now actually made of asphalt and concrete instead of Chinese plastics secured through shady corpo deals. The slab is also installed, so there wouldn't be a need to hire gardeners to take care of the weeds anymore. Lastly, a network uplink room has also been built to accommodate new technologies and also tarps because no one wants to get a sunburn these days.
Reworked Network Surveillance Center features small changes from previous structures like shiny roofs and radar dishes, a better driveway, rounder fans, and fancy active lighting. It mainly retains the layout design from the previous iterations.
Chapel of technocracy, aka Advanced Warfare Laboratory, sees some moderate changes like the addition of the front tower, better network uplink room, metal stack, more doors, and more utility props (transformer, pipes, electronic panel.) Other than that, it has received the same changes from previous updates, such as shiny roofs and radar dishes, rounder fans, and animated tarps.
Lastly, the Supply Drop Depot sees some changes to the zone texture from the tech building version to a custom-made one like the Airfield. The silo has been removed to distinguish them from the Supply Center in favor of a larger depot building. Other than that, it has also received shiny roofs, rounder fans, and fancy lighting effects.
These small changes applied to the new airfield as well, in case you're wondering.
NATO Surveillance Network Center The Surveillance Network Center from the previous iteration but with shiny roofs and radar dishes, a better driveway, rounder fans, and fancy active lighting.
NATO Airfield Mostly new USA Airfield featuring concrete second hangar building and control tower, metal roof storage, a new runway and helipad texture, slab and new uplink room along with shiny roofs, rounder fans, better fencing, 3D doors, and more clutter.
NATO Advanced Warfare Laboratory The Advanced Warfare Laboratory from the previous iteration features a new front tower, a better network uplink room, a metal stack, more doors, and more utility props (transformer, pipes, electronic panel) along with shiny roofs and radar dishes, rounder fans and animated tarps.
NATO Supply Drop Depot Mostly new USA Supply Drop Zone featuring new zone texture, larger depot building along with shiny roofs, rounder fans, and fancy lighting effects.
That's all for the update. Next time, take your guess on how drastic things are gonna be or what each structure would look like. Until next time!
