when i have my ai build walls

NodAIBuildsWalls=yes
AIBuildsWalls=yes

the ai makes walls of component towers and a wall image on top of each component tower
care to explain?

The TS AI doesn' t know how to use walls.   Confused

The component tower has extra coding so it could be built over a wall section. The AI probably messes this up by putting both together on the same spot, thinking they are the same thing.

i hate AI its so stupid. Proper wall building AI would be nice though

i guess the only solution to this is to make component towers techlvl -1
and make a clone of it with a different name
also clone all the turrets
that should work just fine......i think

Is WallTower= a valid tag in TS? Try setting that to no.

Oh, after re-reading his problem, I know what he's going through. I set WallTower to no and it worked... Not a great fix but it works.

and what will that do?

will ai still be able to build walls AND component towers?
just not in the freaky component tower wall fashion?

EDIT i think i understand what it does...am i right when i presume it's going to make the towers unable to be built on top of walls? and vice versa

...shit this simply crashes ts for me Confused

i'll just go with cloning

It crashed? Mine didn't when I set WallTower to no.

Did you change anything else?

You might also try disallowing the AI to even build walls.
