I solved it by resizing from 255x255 to 240x240. It seems it's the actual biggest sized map without glitch in game.

The pavement in red circle area was missing in game at 255x255. Any information given to the tiles were missing. Water, height, etc. It would only show LAT grass type.

Unit can move on it though.

Can apply this patch to gamemd.exe and see if the problem gets solved. If new to hex editing, can make an ini file of the patch and use ModExe tool.

Yes. It solves the problem perfectly. Thank you for the help!

Another problem I just encountered was that game crushed randomly during the loading screen. The only thing I changed I think was that I added about 100+ light poles.

The map had been resized twice as well, but it was always stable until recent. Although the cause is consistent, but I can't find any information relate to it.

After hacked the exe file I resized the map back to 255x255 using the recommended tool (I had downsized it using the editor before). The game doesn't crush so far.

Use latest FA2sp DLL files from here.

Previous FA2sp version had bug with missing Preview/PreviewPack sections which can cause crash when loading map in original YR.

FA2's resize functionality is not good. Use MapRsize tool either from patched FA2 or here. After resizing use FA2 for further editing.
