it could either be a support flying object aircraft or an offensive flying object aircraft the looks of it. the orb might be used as some sort of laser coming out i think or the voxel might act like a support buffer.

That doesn't make it make more sense haha!

I could see it being some sort of deployable construction yard that has to float to its new destination, it really doesn't seem like a fighting unit.
