FreeCiv 3.0.5 is now available!
Subject description: Diplomats have not bribed PPG officers to post this news, but that gold donation was good enough!
Welcome back, commander! We've got another engine to start covering here at Project Perfect Game: FreeCiv. For those unfamiliar with it, FreeCiv is a free and open-source empire-building strategy game inspired by the history of human civilization that recreates and improves the experience of civilization games. The game commences in prehistory and your mission is to lead your tribe from the Stone Age to the Space Age. It works on Windows, Linux, macOS, and FreeBSD, among others.
Today, their staff released a new version of FreeCiv. Here is the official announcement from FreeCiv's staff about FreeCiv 3.0.5:
