Hi everyone! Updates of Tiberian Sun Rising have been shared recently by Assassin. For those unfamiliar with it, Tiberian Sun Rising is a total conversion for Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars that recreates the Tiberian Sun universe into it. Here is a snippet of the latest news post:

Experiments in Evolution



Commander, new sightings have revealed what appears to be a new Tiberium Lifeform. It is called the Tiberian Floater due to its ability to float over land or water using Tiberium Gas to propel itself. While they may appear harmless floating around, the Tiberium Gas floats around the vicinity. It mutates organic matter in the nearby area, acting as another vector for helping spread Tiberium's effects. If that wasn't bad enough, we've heard reports Floaters are deadly in close range. We've lost contact with an outpost that reported these creatures. We'll be going in to investigate and collect more information. Until then, the outpost captured this image is the only rendering of the Floater we currently have on file:

What Experiments in Evolution have taken place here, one can only wonder are these new creature's areas with stronger levels of Tiberium infestation appear to be ripe areas for the emergence of these Tiberian Floaters. There is a lot of speculation based on reports so far. We'll provide more information as it is verified in the field.








I have no doubt we haven't seen the last of the Tiberian Floater Commander. We'll show you infield footage from the battlefield once our response team has located the catalyst creature.
