C&C Generals v2.02 mod is out!
Subject description: Physically, an improvement to the vanilla game!
A new version of C&C Generals Version 2.0 has been released recently by sgtmyers88. C&C Generals Version 2.0 is a modification for C&C Generals: Zero Hour created with the purpose of updating the visual effects and the gameplay concepts of the aging game Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour SAGE Game Engine for use with its associated Mods. The changes from C&C Generals v2.02 were announced with the following words:

C&C Generals v2.0 is a mod that mostly just upgrades the visuals of the 20-year-old C&C Generals/ZH game engine, along with a few bonus features. Recently, patch version 2.02 was released with some optimizations and new toys for mappers to play with in the WorldBuilder map editing program.
CHANGELOG:
Some minor optimizations and visual edits were made to the skirmish maps
General physics adjustments made to several objects
Adjusted particle effect code on several objects
Fixed bugs with the Generals USA Campaign
Added new "land bridges" and "destructible" bridges
(Winding River, Bridge Busters, and Final Crusade are tested bed maps for the new bridges)
