Ive been trying to get the sound of the wind to play through out the map but it does't work and I can't find a tutorial on adding maps sounds.

I tried coping the settings from another map but it does not work.

Are you trying to play for the entire map or just near the waypoint? Because it you're doing the latter, then use event 8.

Then you'd first have to make new sound objects that play globally in sound.ini, you'll see that by default they only play locally, either to your screen or to a cell range from where it's played. This is why you can hear a nuke siren or spy disguise anywhere, but you only hear a typical explosion when you can see it.

I tried it but it crashes the game when it starts.
Amb_WindPlainsGlobal is using the sounds from _Amb_WindPlains
When I press PLACE ON MAP it does nothing, I don't see anything placed.

Control= random loop all ambient

Priority=normal


The waypoint is set to 10

If the sound loops then why are you also making the trigger loop AND call itself? Your crashing is because you have the type and attached fields creating a nested loop -- aka spiral of death. Also you should be using action 19 not 99, since you aren't trying to trigger it when you can see it.
