Greetings, commander! Starkku, the leader of BatchTMPConverter, has published BatchTMPConverter 4.0. This software is a command-line tool for replacing tile image data on Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun / Red Alert 2 terrain template (.TMP) files. It allows for fast and quick conversion of PNG image files into already existing terrain templates. The changes from BatchTMPConverter 4.0 were announced with the following words:

Quote:

  • Target framework version has been changed from .NET Framework 4.0 to .NET Framework 4.8.
  • Added option to output template z-data as images (grayscale, pixel brightness is z-data value times eight)
  • Added option to fix z-data (values above 31 converted to 0) for processed tiles. Works even if no image data is converted.
