Greetings, commander! Updates of Colony Wars has been shared recently by Atomic_Noodles. For those unaware, Colony Wars is a modification for Yuri's Revenge with Ares and Phobos that brings Giant Ants as the Colony to the game. Here is the post with the latest announced unit, Corroder Ballista from the Syndicate faction, posted at the Colony Wars forum:

- Replaces the Toxin Tractor for the Chaos Cell
- Attacks can damage through Garrisons
- Ejects Brute when destroyed

- Temporarily Lowers armor of affected units
- Mutant

The Corroder is another bizarre vehicle developed by the Chaos Cell and its mutant forces. Taking inspiration from ancient siege weapons, notably the ballista and Scorpions of Ancient and Medieval warfare. The Corroder fires large dissolver-loaded missile bolts that have a delayed detonation fuse that explodes violently, coating enemy forces in the blast radius with a corrosive chemical bath that weakens the armor of enemies. In a bizarre use in combat, the Chaos Cell can also use the missiles as flying battering rams to clear out occupied enemy structures from a distance. If a Corroder gets enough experience to be promoted, they are given access to Tiberium-Loaded missiles, which instead of killing infantry, can mutate them into visceroids. Much like the Biker of the Chaos Cell, should their vehicle be destroyed, a Brute will escape from the wreckage retaining all their earned experience as well.
