Artillery over-shooting elevated targets =fixable?
When arching artillery shoots from lower ground to elevated target, the projectile falls further/behind the target. I presumed SubjectToElevation=yes has smth to do with that, but it doesn't seem to influence.
If it was already asked and solved, please direct me with link, tried to search with no luck. QUICK_EDIT
It's a known bug with ballistic projectiles when shooting from above/below. It also often applies to things like cruise missiles, and the exact point of impact varies by various factors like the difference in levels of elevation, whether the aimed at cell is actually targetable, etc. It has even been exploited to do things like reaching targets outside of range (eg: Destroying the Chronosphere in RA2 Soviet Mission 12 with dreadnaughts).
But no, despite everything people know about it, I don't think there's currently a fix aside from giving up on unguided ballistics. QUICK_EDIT
Thank you for clarifying @silverwind. Shame even Ares doesn't have a solution, hoped maybe by excluding some parameters this bugged behaviour can be at least seized. Giving a guided projectile to simple shell artillery doesn't feel as an appropriate solution. QUICK_EDIT
