How can we add smoke trails to aircraft that are not AircraftType, like Kirovs ?

I tried with
TrailerAnim=
TrailerSeperation=

and it does nothing.

TrailerAnim= is used on debris & anims, use Trailer= for aircraft & projectiles. I can't remember if Trailer will work on jumpjets tho.

Trailer= is for AircraftType only, it does not work fo anything else. That's why I'm trying a different approach.

You could attach a dummy anim to the unit with AttachEffect & then add the TrailerAnim= to the anim.

You'll need Ares to get it to work. The only way in vanilla RA2/YR would be to give the unit a continually firing weapon to spawn the trailer, but it would mean the unit couldn't use a normal weapon.

Another option would be to use a line trail instead, which works on ground/jumpjet units.
