COOLNESS7 RETURNS AND MODERNIZES SHOCKWAVE MOD FOR ZERO HOUR
There is something just magical about this game that still has few (or none) equals in the RTS genre. Perhaps it's the ability to summon stealth bombers to carpet bomb your opponents every few minutes. Perhaps it's the fact that even its parent franchise is now considered "dead". Perhaps it's the fact that 20 years after the game's release, yes... TWENTY YEARS. I constantly find myself coming back to this game. So what if I took one of my favorite mods, combined it with my own mods, and added shaders to make it look more modern? Well, I did. I have been waiting for a new RTS game to come to rival this one for 20 years, and it just doesn't look like there ever will be.

Like many of you, I was disappointed to learn that many of my favorite mods for C&C Generals: Zero Hour have ceased development. Like many of you, I still felt that this was one of the greatest games of all time, especially considering that it transformed the RTS genre as the original C&C did. I am proud to present a modernization of one of the greatest mods to grace the community. This pays homage and great respect to the development team that took Shockwave so far, but unfortunately, there hasn't been an update since 2016. Now, for the first time since then, I have taken the initiative to provide a "definitive edition". I hope you all enjoy it.
