The title pretty much sums up the goal of this thread.

I'll start by talking about a neo-retro sci fi Duke Nukem styled FPS called Ion Fury where you play as Cpl. Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison, leader for the GDF domestic task force during events taking place over 100 years after TR.


So, Ion Fury has a load of satire/pop culture references in the form of billboards and posters around town, but this got me real curious as it doesn't directly reference much that I know of:

Could this be connected to the mysterious third faction that is still under wraps?

Notice in the second picture that there are "obelisks" besides the buildings in Earths underground, which could be a possible link to the "Monuments of Mars" referenced in Ion Fury. However, the devs have also revealed that the third faction is "not what you expect", that it's not someone from outer space and is something "completely different, and insanely cool." But could it still be connected?
