Hey everyone! You can now display any external video in these forums using the BBCode below:

Code:

[video]https://www.mysite.com/myvideo.mp4[/video]

Change https://www.mysite.com/myvideo.mp4 to the full URL of your movie.

You can also do the same tweaks as seen in ModDB, YouTube, and Twitch videos, such as:

Code:

[video=350]https://www.mysite.com/myvideo.mp4[/video]

Code:

[video=350,420]https://www.mysite.com/myvideo.mp4[/video]

In this case, 350 is the width, and 420 is the height of the video.

Enjoy it, and do not abuse it!

I don't know if it is true. What I know is that I've taken a look at Odysee today to try to embed its videos, and I have not found any code to share it elsewhere. Also, the internal URL of the videos will be rejected by our video tag due to a bad URL format. So, I guess I won't be able to add it even if I wanted to.

What's the difficulty? Is it because it has no extension?

Here's one particular <video> src= line, and if you copy&paste into a browser it just plays fine?
