A little on the large side, but the shapes are good.

If I was you I would learn to add artificial highlights and gradients to some of the edges/features to help them separate. And of course take more advantage of normals like how the ERA panels on the T-90 light up in profile view, that could easily be done for a lot more of the tanks.

Bro, this is my style--less gradient colors, accurate modeling, and clean normals. I'd like using normals rather than colors to separate the edges/features if not necessary.

Perhaps you misunderstand how I meant it, I didn't mean the lumpy texturing that's so common lately, I just meant fake internal shadows/dirt to help something on a different plane pop from what's behind. See pic...

Oh you mean the artificial shadows and highlights. I'm using this on small vxls such as aircrafts, but on those big ones, highlights generated by normals  are good enough .

The wheels should be at least 1 layer wider, they look like training wheels. Also unless I'm mistaken, the belly pan of the Stryker should be exactly halfway into the wheel height, and yours appears to be 1-2 higher than that, making the body appear kinda flatter than it should... they are chonkybois.

Exactly. But I have no plan to fix these small details.

an isometric tile is 60 pixels wide horizontally and 29 pixels vertically. however, this voxel is
84 pixels wide facing horizontally and 49 pixels facing vertically. so it exceeds the maximum
size for a ground unit by 40% horizontally and 69% vertically.

in other words it doesnt fit.

I made it wider to fit the RA2 engine, it should be 30-32 pixels at real scale. If you guys are really interested in precison, why not make your ones?

its not really a question of precision, or even a question of looking good or not. its just that
the game assets need to be a certain scale to fit in the game. im sure you could image how
goofy it would look if i made some buildings that were 50% larger than they ought to be.

Use the hvab to resize it, this is easy.

shrinking down all the voxels would hurt game performance, but im curious to see how it might look

It shouldn't, the voxels are rendered as images and are cached as needed. The initial rendering might lag the game a tiny bit, but nothing permanent.

Yaknow, I think you should make the tires thicker and have less wheel, at some angles they don't even look like they have rubber.

G-E, stop being a harsh critic. I'm not looking for advice or suggestions here, and I'm tired of you critics on this website. As I said, you can make your own ones that will be better than any vxl made by anyone. I hope you understand this point.

I don't understand why you'd be so defensive, we can all improve, but more to the point, I thought everyone _wants_ to improve?
