Hello everyone! G-E, the leader of AICheck, has posted AICheck 8.7 a day ago. For your information, AICheck is a TCL script designed as a general cross-checker for INI files from Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge, helpful in finding unit/declaration errors and incomplete ideas. Here are the updates from AICheck 8.7:

Quote:
AICHECK 8.7... with more Ares/Phobos stuff.

Now properly considers Trainable=yes/no for all technotypes in relation to elite weapons, including for elite turret changer weapons.

This release also adds Crit.Warhead and SW.Warhead values to the list of used warheads to prevent logging them as unused. Do note that Crit.Warhead will be checked against the [Warheads] list, while SW.Warhead will not.

G-E is really going to town with those scripts! It's nice to see because before this I was thinking about writing my own IDE as a hobby programming project and so stuck between whether I should do that or focus on a set of more stripped down and more reliable/practical scripts. I'm sure the whole IDE project will be just one more of those things to go into the pile of incomplete projects I barely started before giving up, because of course it will, but it's nice to know that someone else (well besides dcoder way back with the ini checker) also had the bright idea to write scripts to catch the small stuff and has put in the work to make it a reality.
