Do BulletTypes have an (implicit) Locomotor? What is it?
BulletTypes (projectiles) have their own particular rules of movement, but there is no locomotor anywhere that corresponds to it. Is there a separate locomotor ID that BulletTypes default to and that could conceivably be used on units if the ID was known? Is it simply one of the existing and known locomotors that has particular additional rules triggered if the object in question is a projectile?
Or is projectile behavior handled in some other way that is fundamentally not transferable to TechnoTypes?
The list of Locomotors on ModEnc used to include one that was called the "ballistic" locomotor, which has since been deleted. Perhaps this factors into this question in some way? QUICK_EDIT
locomotors are used to control the movement of units. Projectile's use tags such as ROT=, Arcing=, Level=, Vertical=, etc to control how they move.
You can use a locomotor on a warhead with IsLocomotor=, which will change the locomotor of any unit that is hit by the weapon. I presume that's not what mean tho..?
Ballistic is an alternative name for the Drop Pod locomotor. _________________
