Are super weapon cursors hard-coded in the game.exe or can they be altered in a config file ?

For example, if I want paradrop to use nuke sign cursor can I do that from any of the .inis ?

You can customize SW cursors with Ares.

The only way in vanilla RA2/YR is to edit the the mouse.sha graphics file to change the cursor.

I get default cursor for some SW hard-coded entries. How do we know what entries correspond to what frames in the mouse.sha ?

You open the mouse.sha file & then look for the frames that match the SW you want to edit...

If the SW is using the default attack cursor then you cant change it, as it will then be changed for everything else that uses that cursor too. Only the unique cursors used by SW can be changed.
