Doc is on his desk, staring at multiple monitors, fiddling with several apps on his PC, while special agent Tanya is on her laptop on another desk, busy with her own work.

General Carville walks in with another person following behind him.

“How are you liking your new lab doc?”
“Pretty good. Still, a few kinks that need to be ironed out, but overall, everything is working well.”
“Glad to hear it.”

Carville motions toward the guy beside him. “This is Kenji Tenzai, of Tenzai Robotics. He’s on loan to us from the JSDF.”
“Ah yes, Tsunami Tank guy.”
“I see my reputation precedes me.”
The two men shake hands.

Kenji turns towards Tanya.
“Ms. Tanya.”
“Kenji.”
“I brought the thing in case you need it.” says Kenji as he winks at Tanya.
Tanya replies with an uncomfortable grin.

Doc shoots a glance at Tanya, then Kenji. “Thing, what thing?”
“Ms. Tanya recently did work for us as a test pilot for one of our latest projects. Perhaps we can show it off to the Alliance leaders one of these days.”
“Must feel good to be able to flaunt your flashy non-classified projects out whenever you want.”
“Oh, don’t feel bad. I very much enjoyed reading about your fancy tree tank. I’m sure you’ll have your own flashy, non-classified projects to show off soon.”

Both men grin at each other intensely.

Carville clears his throat.

“Anyway, doc, me and Kenji are about to head out for lunch and were wondering if you two would like to join us.”
“Sounds good. I could use a break.”
“No problem for me as well, general.”
“Great, Kenji says he’s never been to the Philippines before, so I was thinking-”
Carville’s phone rings. ”Oh, sorry, I have to take this.”

“Hello … yes lieutenant … image? … hang on, lemme check, I’ll call you back.”

Carville opens the attached image that the lieutenant sent and takes a look. Moments later, his face goes pale.
He calls the lieutenant back.
“Has this been confirmed? … *sigh* Alright, I’m heading back.”
*beep*

“Sorry, fellas, I’m gonna have to take a rain check on lunch. I’m needed back in HQ, agent Tanya. You’re with me. I’ll brief the two of you about it when the time comes.”
“Sure, we understand.”
“Yes, I’m sure, tree man and I can find some other way to pass the time.”

Carville and Tanya head out the door.

“Well, there they go.”

Kenji glances over to Doc’s computer.
“So Doc, what are you currently working on anyway?”
“Oh, I’m just getting ready to launch another satellite into orbit,” says Doc as he starts walking back to his desk.
“Ah, I see.”
“...”
“Wait, what?”

Carville and Tanya are riding in the back of a car, heading back to HQ.
Carville looks back at the image that the lieutenant sent to his phone.

“Well, this has turned into a heck of a situation…”







Ooh, the mysterious unit is mysterious…

Hello, once again, Reborn fans!

The 20th ZH Anniversary is just around the corner, and this time, Reborn will be joining, so it’s time to get the hype train moving again with more Pacific Alliance goodies:

USA Tech Lab









The USA Tech Lab has gotten a massive facelift, thanks to Sarge_Rho!

The Tech Lab acts as the USA Pacific Alliance’s Strategy Center, except it has no battle plans. Instead, it gets a special ability that reveals the entire map as long as the Tech Center is alive:









If you know what this ability is a reference to, then you’re probably suffering from chronic back pains.

Speaking of facelifts, the Repair Drone and Guardian Drone have received new models courtesy of NProject Mod and C&C: ShockWave






Just like the Tech Lab, the Repair Drone now fully replaces USA PA’s Dozer and is no longer an alternate unit. This was done to simplify things and also to make the AI work better.
